The range of internal fire protection systems from Tor Coatings can be easily applied to painted internal walls, ceilings and stairwells to improve fire safety performance. Conforming to fire rating Class 0 is an obligation in certain premises, such as HMOs (houses in multiple occupation), but this is also recommended in other buildings to help prevent the spread of flame. Our product offering upgrades the fire performance of well adhered, previously painted surfaces and has a third party accredited performance under Certifire, as well as being independently tested at Warrington Fire Research Centre. All coatings can be tinted on our CS2 system, offering outstanding colour match and meaning there’s no need to compromise on the aesthetics of your premises. We also stock flame retardant coatings and a huge range of other internal building protection products, all of which are suitable for new-build and refurbishment projects alike. Tor will discuss your fire performance requirements with you and agree the measurement criteria for achieving the Class 0 level required, allowing conformity with the RR(FS)O.
